You can change the name on your account only for a typographical error
or a legal name change. You can’t change the name on your account to

To make a name change, submit a request through our secure form.

4. Select “My Account” in the choose a Topic box and select “Name

Perubahan Nama di Account Paypal

Akhirnya setelah mencoba merubah nama account di bank BCA dan berakhir dengan anjuran perubahan KTP oleh mbak-mbak BCA, mencari di Internet, tanya-tanya ke kanan kiri. Hari ini Nama di account Paypal sudah sesuai dengan nama di Bank Account BCA.

Ternyata Paypal memang sudah membuat step-step khusus untuk perubahan nama, bahkan menyangkut masalah legal-nya. Mulai dari form yang khusus untuk perubahan nama sampai dokumen legal yang harus dilampirkan…phiuuh.

A month ago I have write on some payment service provider and its benefit to online store. Now, I will write some business prospect as the payment provider itself. Five star payments is one example of the payment service provider. As payment provider they accept Visa and MasterCard as main payment card.

Payment service generate income from every client that they have, payment provider could charge fixed fee to their client or online business store, or charge by the amount of payment that accepted by the online store through their service. This two kind of business model, conducted by payment provider seems to be a prospect business, as long as your service is easy to use and reliable at all time and condition.

So, why you don’t start your own payment provider services. The only thing you should prepare is cheap human resources and also reliable technology.

Online Business Case: Translation Services

Start from last week discussion with a college friend, he’s planned to form a online business that inspired by the VA (Virtual Assistant) business in India and Philippines. Online business that will be form is Translation service based on online order through web.

As an input and some suggestions for his new business, I’ll review this translation service based on this India based company. Iaflindia.com provides translation services for India based language and some other countries around India, for example India translation, Arabic translation and Farsi translation.

The payment and transaction not provided on online form, but still through email and user interaction in their web is also still need to improve, but I think as their main business is not selling product, but provided services. I think their approach is still good in their business stream.

Internet Marketing Concept – Definition (1)

Past few days, I’ve been asking by some friends about the internet marketing. Some pointing out to asiabrain or even the new rumahgratis. Questions they always asks, such as:

1. Is it true that internet marketing is MLM via internet?
2. are we have to make ebook to sell in internet?

And so many more positive or negative side of internet marketing. Lets start with some points.

Internet Marketing is Marketing channel with many business model

Internet marketing, or for short IM, is one marketing channel to do business, and like some marketing channel it has many business model. For example, Television, if you have your own channel (ie. Zid Channel), then you’ll be able to sell your channel through cable TV as Pay TV, sell prime time TV Commercial to advertising agency, or sell some program to product related to the program and offer them in main sponsor or even an Advertorial.

Same with Television, In IM, if you have a Website, you could sell it as a pay site, commercial banner (link, image or pop-up) or even do some advertorial on your website content.

So, you don’t have to make some e-book, sell unuseful product to others or even ask you friends to transfer some moeny to join some network.

Internet Marketing like all Business, It could be leverage to gain more profit

Start with one store, after the ROI, leverage to 2 or 3 store. Start with one property, leverage to 2 property and so on. Same like all of them, start with one web, after it generate a sustainable profit, move to another one.

Paid Review — Online Business Journey (3)

After trying the online business model of PPC and affiliate marketing, this is the case of paid review business model. How much revenue that you’ll get for a paid review?. The simple one web sample, lets say that you have PageRank 4 website, then the average revenue for the first month is about 50 USD to 100 USD. The revenue is depends on how you much revew request that you’ll get.

The complete simple case for paid review:
1. The initial moeny that you should invest is 0 (null)
2. Build a free blog, either on wordpress or blogger/blogspot (I would prefer blogger, cause you could extend it to advertising business model)
3. Write a topic that’s hot in populated country, for example Indonesia, you could write about the
new telecommunication Operator (ie. Axis)
4. Gain your reader by promote your web to mailing list or private forum(ie. company private forum, mailing list or alumni mailing list).
5. Made your self a credit card and register to paypal.
5. Register your blog to reviewme or blogvertise.
6. Start doing your review request

PPC Affiliate – Online Business Journey (2)

What is Affiliate online business model?, basically this type of business model is something that known as the middleman, you dont have to made your own products to sell, all you need to do is just sell others people product and get commision for product that you sold to customer.

Then what is PPC, PPC is an avertising model that based on click, for example Google Adwords. So, how to combine the PPC and Affiliate? it is simply to put your affiliate product promotion link in the PPC to generate the sales .

Then hows the steps:
1. Register your self to Affiliate website – ie. amazon affiliate, commision juction(for walmart and others)
2. Register to PPC website – ie. Google Adwords
3. Made your self a promotion in PPC using your affiliate link
4. Monitor your promotion and research the best keywords
5. After several months, entertain yourself with motivational pics
